Global manufacturer of USB data storage requested a new product strategy to invigorate consumer interest and bring some fun to the retail buyer conversation. With growing reliance on Cloud Storage USB storage is a category in decline.


In reviewing the packaging we began using the entire canvas of the package with a highlighted section falling on the USB drive. This allowed us to elevate messaging and create intrigue within the artwork. Once consumers have the product in hand and explore the artwork…humorous and intelligent discoveries are revealed. We developed over 70 possible articulations of this new packaging concept. Only 4 appear here. 


Retailer and product company were thrilled with the new direction. USB manufacturer was awarded significant incremental space within the category driving out competitive product.
